Giving of our time and talents to God

 Jesus spent all of His time helping others.  Lately I've been working on being intentionally thankful for His many blessings.  It has helped me to focus on Him and not the things that are going on around me.  I've challenged myself to sing thank you God first thing in the morning and last thing at night and when anything happens during the day. Be it good or bad.  

Right now I'm standing in line to give plasma. This is one way I can give back besides being thankful.  I hope you will find a way to be thankful in all things and a way to serve Him with you time and talents.  God bless you.

Just an Average Day of little Motivation

  Happy Day,  Today is Wednesday and Wednesdays are usually my day for picking songs for Sunday service, sending messages to the song team, practicing the piano, etc.  But today I'm having difficulty getting motivated.  Do you ever feel that way?  What is it that motivates us or de-motivates us? Believers in Christ or not, we all have days when we just don't care about anything or anybody.  We just want to be left alone.  But why?  And how do we get out of that besides drinking a 5 Hour energy drink (which I have already done today).
